Wingerworth Medical Centre

The Wingerworth Medical Centre stands as a testament to thoughtful redevelopment by taking an abandoned series of old tennis courts and transforming them into a healthcare Facility within an 15-month period while working in partnership with a team of Medical Professionals who now occupy the building and serve the community. The design of the Wingerworth Medical Centre emphasises accessibility and functionality while maintaining the charm of the surroundings while also being situated in the heart of the community. During the construction we were pleased to invite some of the local primary school students to the site for an engaging and educational experience where students could ask about the career opportunities. Following their visit the children were then invited to take part in a drawing competition where they could express on paper “what they got out of the experience” which has then been montaged and showcased on a poster displayed within the Medical Centre Reception area.
